Karate

is becoming an obsession...a good one I think and I'm loving it....have plans on getting that black belt no matter how long it takes me I am going to do it.!!!

Exciting....

I've booked my trip to the US YIPPEE!!! I can't wait!!!!!
Leaving Melbourne on 20th July arriving San Diego. Leaving there the 25th for Reno and then the 31st for Las Vegas, then home again on the 5th of August....can not wait to go only 145 days to go!!!!

Nothing much ...

happening in my life....a couple of days ago I could have really vented on here.....maybe should have vented on here instead of losing it with my son...I swear to God I wanted to throw him through a wall....didn't....no matter how tempted.....going for a very fast walk with the dogs helped because when I came home I had calmed down enough that I could deal with him without murder on my mind....and what did the whole argument start over....him taking his sister's water bottle.....children.....you love them to bits but does it stop you from wanting to throttle them sometimes :) :) :) actually throttling them NO but thinking about it ....mmmmm ah shall I be honest...okay YES!!!!!

One step closer

to the black belt I want. At karate class today I graded to an orange tip ....another rung on the ladder to get me to where I want to be which is a black belt.....I don't know whether it's because I've always wanted a belt that color or because my sister doesn't think I'll be able to achieve it (because at the moment I'm overweight and not as fit as she is) but maybe I'll get it just to prove her wrong. I found out today that one of the sensei got her black belt at 62 so there is hope for me yet :)

Life is

yeah....okay I guess....nothing exciting going on....just life.....with kids(and their taxi service), housework, karate and a little writing there doesn't seem to be a lot of time for anything else...although I am looking forward to upcoming trips this year...a girl's weekend away to Tasmania at the end of May and two and a half weeks in the US in July/August (yipee!!!!) and I really should be looking for a family holiday in about Sept too....all fun and something to look forward too.....
